"...the loneliest place on Earth."
This planet, with its magnificent and mysterious landscapes, offers endless wonders for those bold enough to explore it. The lush Amazon Rainforest, the expansive Gobi desert, and the magical cenotes of the Yucatan Peninsula are just a few of my favorite landscapes that cover our beautiful, fading Earth.
Recently, I came across an intriguing article on Point Nemo, the most remote location on planet Earth. According to the article –> https://allthatsinteresting.com/point-nemo, this speck is the furthest location from any landmass, surrounded by thousands of miles of ocean in every direction. It’s a place of solitude, where one would be closer to space than to any actual land if they were to find themselves there.
Reflecting on my current state of being, I can’t help but feel as though I am standing on Point Nemo in my own life. The path my life has taken recently has left me feeling submerged in an ocean of sorrow and loneliness. Everywhere I turn, I encounter pain, loss, and mistake after mistake, perpetuating a seemingly inescapable cycle. It’s not a matter of how but rather, when. I know what needs to be done, but the challenge is immense. I’ve been caught in this downward spiral for almost nine months, and I am in desperate need of liberation. I must free myself from this abyss… Point Nemo will no longer be my home. In a little under a month, I will bid farewell to this ocean. I can no longer keep washing away with each passing wave. Goodbye, my ocean. Goodbye.
